The Landscaper Body

The Landcaper Body is essentially a flatbed. Then a dump hoist is added, then some removable solid or non-removable solid sides are added that are made of plywood or steel typically. In addition a steel frame swing away rear gate assembly is added. The Landscaper Body and the Debris Body are very similar in design. The Debris Body is usually made of steel sides with steel overlay on the floor.

The Landscaper and Debris Bodies are designed to carry a bulky load but not necessarily great in weight. A Landscaper might have some bush timmings, lawn clippings, some small branches and the like, so there is not usually the weight as if they were carrying yards of dirt. The Landscaper can be easily overloaded, so you should know how the customer will use the truck and have the customer understand the limitations of the truck. It is common to put a Landscaper on a 350, but your customer may need a 550 or a medium duty truck.
