Here are some new products that we have come across. These are great products and certainly worthy of notice. Check them out and follow the links to more products from these excellent companies.
Scelzi Drawer Assembly and Scelzi Combo Special
Check out this great truck that we saw at Scarff Ford in Auburn, WA just before delivery by Joe Hughes, Fleet/Commercial Manager to the end user. The highlight for us is the drawer assembly. It is absolutely perfect in design and it even appears that it is retrofitable (although I don't know this for a fact). What's great about the drawers is that they look and feel like top of the line Craftsman drawers with the same kind of latch system and they are not made out of 1/4" steel as some are. They are thinner and lighter, but still strong and because of the design, they were able to put 6 drawers in the front compartment and still have a good size space at the top of the drawer assembly! Awesome setup and an easy sale to a customer, but they will have to touch and feel them. Once that's done, it should be a piece of stainless steel.
Also of note is the whole body itself. This body is painted black to match the uplevel trim cab and you know how much Commercial Truck Success likes colored trucks! They did a great job matching the paint and overall the paint is very nicely done. This is a 12' Combo Body on a Super Cab 84" CA truck, but there is a really interesting twist. Check out the additional work platform extension on the back of the Combo Body work platform creating a step that makes it much easier to get up into the bed area and a great place to mount vises, etc. which is what the customer wanted it for. In addition, it has a Class V hitch! This is a first class truck and Scelzi should rightly be proud to roll out a piece as nice as this. Great job Scelzi!
